Paleo/Primal thoughts on yogurt

While I love the tart taste and would be pleased to use even less sugar, we do our best to balance the tart/tang of the natural yogurt with a low sugar content for a more universally satisfying treat...

It's official! A new space for Cultured!

Later this summer we will be making the big move...but not too far! 

Cultured is currently building out the neighboring space at 212 Loudoun Street in hopes of opening late August of this year. We will be broadening our scope to offer NOT JUST our delicious frozen yogurt, but also smoothies, seasonal soups, gourmet open-faced sandwiches, side salad/ hash options, and a maybe even a craft beer or two.

The new space is cozy with counter and table seating, but will also utilize the fenced outdoor space for a safe and family friendly environment to relax while stimulating those taste buds!

We will update with photos and news as we gear up for the move- check us out on facebook for regular updates...


Winter hours and holiday updates...


Hi friends!
Winter hours are now in full effect-- soup seems to be a lunchy thing around these parts, but we remain open until 7pm most nights in case you need some of the hot stuff on your way home!
We have a really tasty Sweet Potato and Sweet Corn chowder right now thanks to Lost Corner Farm produce... and Burgundy Beef is on it's way in the next couple of days.
We will be closing our window at 4pm on Friday the 16th of NOV  to make way for Mom's bakery Holiday prep. The window will close through Thanksgiving Day, BUT we will be sampling outside Mom's and selling prepackaged frozen soup (and yogurt) for you to take home-- great for the busy holiday time (just pop soup in a saucepan and simmer til it's good and hot)!

Hours lengthening, farm strawberries ending...

It's high Spring, which means two things here at Cultured:

1) Lost Corner Farm's strawberries have been a favorite topping for about a month, but strawberry season is drawing to a close and we will soon fall back to commercial strawberries. I don't like to knock any yummy fruit, but I have to say, there is nothing like a Lost Corner strawberry. We will miss you!

2) As we approach Summer proper, our hours will gradually increase. I know many of you want to join us for a refreshing, after-dinner, palate-tantalizing dessert! Now that the light is strong into the evening and school is almost out, you will see our hours elongate before your eyes...

Soon we will have Lost Corner Farm blackberries to help us mourn the end of strawberry season, so don't fret. Can't wait to see you and learn your facorite topping combos!
